Is This a Phone scam, I get calls they are from India ? they know my name
part of my address then ask if I have had a new phone from my mobile Co in the last 12 months they say they are looking to see if i am due a new phone or rewards .
But I am on a sim only deal with virgin and buy my own phone if they are from virgin they will know this, at this point i send them packing.
anyone else get them ? and what are they up to ?

They're trying to sell you a new mobile phone, they aren't very likely to be from virgin.

Can't even speak English, it took me a minute to realise what they were trying to sell. I'll see about switching to plusnet.

I get this occasionally, supposedly from Orange. Yet they can't tell me anything other than my mobile number.
