View Full Version : Sheaf View midday - impromptu meet
msbehavin 10-11-2005, 08:12 Yes I know, I know, have neglected some of my Forum buddies of late (that dig in another thread didn't go un-noticed Ms Gal..) and as I am not working today and am around the Heeley area then I thought I'd pop in the lovely Sheaf View for a pint and a pickled egg.
Anyone fancy it?
Msb x
What time do you fancy doing it?
mr.blaze 10-11-2005, 08:21 I'm comin if mommies buyin :D

or cacth a bus?
transporter 10-11-2005, 08:38 coming from wales bar area. no easy way to get there. unless i leave now on a bus to sheffield & then one to the pub.
msbehavin 10-11-2005, 08:41 Just read your post about Calow A&E - was your sling accident only this morning then? And you are planning a trip to the pub? I take my hat off to you my man and if I were anywhere near the Wales Bar area I would give you a lift myself

Where did your accident happen? because it's a long way to Calow from Wales Bar.
I hope you're ok
transporter 10-11-2005, 09:11 it happened @ c.peaks. yesterday late morning.
the ambulance asked which hospital i preffered, so went to calow as have been there before.
msbehavin 10-11-2005, 09:14 anyone else up for it?
muddycoffee 10-11-2005, 09:46 This would be so perfect for me if it wasn't on Thurdsay. I actually work about 150 yards away, but I have too much I have to do this lunchtime. Would be good if we can repeat it another day.
Do they do food there as well ?
i'll be there as it happens...well, not 'as it happens', more 'as the pub'll be open' :P
dunno what any of you lot look like, but keep an eye out for the long-haired scruffy bloke propping up the bar.
btw, you might get more takers if this was in notices and events ;)
muddycoffee...they do decent sarnies, but that's all.
mr.blaze 10-11-2005, 10:37 I think there's been an impromptu phone call which has made more bodies surface.
chickmonk 10-11-2005, 10:53 I am soooooooo jealous. I am sat at stoopid work (working hard obviously) and you chaps are down the pub!
Have a spiffing time (lucky monkeys). Another time perhaps?

chickmonk 10-11-2005, 15:02 Let us know when you're meeting next? (Hopefully not in work hours - boo!). Love the Sheaf - especially the cherry beer!
Chicken Monkey x

Thanks for the booze, cigs and creature with a long tongue. All much appreciated.
I like this impromptu style.
Nice to meet you RichF.
redrobbo 11-11-2005, 02:17 Glad you all had a great mini-meet at The Sheaf. It's only a 7 minute walk from my house, but sorry I couldn't make it - and it was MsB's birthday too! :partyhat:
More notice required next time MsB!
P.S. And it's your turn to organise the next Woodseats meet lass! Don't forget to PM dishwasher and Strix with details.
Maybe Dishwasher will have recovered from seeing me in real life by then
