View Full Version : What are us girls wearing this winter savannah1 09-11-2005, 18:43 The clocks have gone back and the dark nights are with us again,so what are you girls wearing this winter to keep your legs warm? Know any good brands of tights,both for quality and fit. Were do you normally buy from? medusa 09-11-2005, 19:24 To keep legs warm I'm changing from cropped linen trousers to full length ones, and from open toed birkenstocks to closed toe ones. If it hits freezing I might add socks and a jumper. At about minus 5 I get the cost out of the wardrobe. Welcome to the world of menopause! BTW i can't find tights that fit properly anyway, as I'm a 36 inside leg and they just drive me up the wall, so I refuse to wear them. They're called Bodyshaper. I'm 5'9'' so "one size" are no good for me - why are they called "one size", when one size only fit little legs?! They're a bit expensive at £3.50 per pair but they're worth every penny. Long Tall Sally do them by mail order- but I've not tried them personally cos I no longer need to wear a suit- yay! Big sis wears them regularly though- and she's a 37 inside leg.
