Well, it my be wild and woolly outside, but for one night only, it can be wild and woolly inside too if you come to this months group meeting, at the above time and date! Please indicate in the poll as to whether you can make it or not. Ta muchly!

Please could you post your intentions on the thread as well as the poll, because I have mucked up the poll and can't seem to make it do what I want it to do. What a plonker.

Admit it, you only messed it up to make me feel better.

I don't know whether I'm coming or going as I don't yet possess a 2011 calendar so haven't a clue who's doing what on the 28th. I've only just got a reliable grip on the date and so far I've written the year down wrong twice.

You've travelled in time too, the meet is on the 26th W4B. You could go on the 28th, but your cuppa would be cold.........

Did I say that I needed new glasses? 3,6,8,9 all of the roundish ones are starting to look the same to me. I'm better with the ones with corners because I can tell them apart at a glance.

I let you do it so that you could sort it out if you mucked it up

Hey, I don't get paid enough for this kind of chiding. And don't bother to chide me on paid time either, bloomin modern technology. I remember a time when everything was done with pen and paper.....................

Where is the group meeting been held? Any knitting groups in the city centre or Beighton, Crystal Peaks area?

The group meeting is at The Wool Baa as usual, sorry for not making that clear, i'm doing really well on this thread aren't I! There is usually a meet at Crystal Peaks library and I think there is one somewhere in Beighton, Sherakapod is the woman in the know for that, but if you look in the sticky section on the "who we are thread...." you will find all the information you need.

It's looking a bit thin on the ground on the poll! I've started another hobby on my Wednesdays so I'll be out of the picture for a while.
Unless it snows and the pitch is frozen!!

You're not wrong! Perhaps we better make sure Jill can turn up!

I can come, I now have a calendar and I've written "Wool Baa" on it. (On the right day as well before anyone says anything)

You mean one of the ones where everyone gets a chair rather than a bag of yarn and there's enough milk for another cup of tea?

I always have enough milk for another cup of tea.......it's the chairs that are the problem

Thank you Jill for the tea(s) and the chair and thank you to everyone else for the company. (That sounds as if I'm not thanking Jill for the company which is vaguely insulting but Jill knows me well enough to know that if I meant that then I'd be REALLY insulting)

I still stand by my position that the effort of chasing toy boys would be a waste of valuable knitting time.

But you could always have one of those toy boys that wore an apron collar and cuffs when he took the bins out. Anyway where is Sherakapod when we need her?! She would have been an excellent participant in this conversation.
