its taken 8 days for my new phone to arrive after being sent to the wrong address, today it got to me but they sent the wrong phone.
The staff are rude and unhelpful and constantly pass the blame to each other and blame delivery companies. Another thing that really gets to me is how many times i was put on hold and transferred to other people(another way of passing the blame to someone else) Sorry rant over

i changed from o2 ages ago, they are liars and swindled me out of loads of money, making up numbers that i was meant to have called and texted. As soon as i checked my bills i discovered so many numbers that didn't even exist!
Recently told my boyfriend to double check his bill after he got his holiday phone bill back and it was huge. He also found numbers that didn't exist and inflated prices.
Better off rid IMO.

You're lucky it ever arrived. When I ordered an upgrade from them just after moving house I gave them my new address. Lo and behold, phone goes to wrong address. Cue many expensive phone calls to be told 'the order had already gone through by the time we took your new address' and basically got 'tough titty' as the reply.
my mates has had a reall big fight with O2 today!!!

I agree their customer service is terrible, especially the online one, we upgraded our phones and they sent OH the wrong one. After about a month and alot of expensive phone calls, being passed from one person to another and a few of them denying all knowledge of his upgrade it was sorted.
It took alot of time and effort we will not be continuing our contract with them when its up for renewal.
Compare this to Orange, it took me two phone calls today to get the £50/£60 refunded, and the woman who I got to on the second call who actually knew what she was on about apologised profusely and added an extra rebate as an apology.

We had a previous contract with orange a couple of years ago but OH was tempted with free text/time with 02.
The customer service we received from orange was fantastic, I had a phone pinched one night at work and rang them they cancelled the phone and sim and sent another out straiight away this was Christmas week too.
Then the following year I dropped my phone on the floor and killed it, I needed it for a very urgent phone call. I went in to their shop and they sorted it straight away.
We will proberbally go back to them. Although I am sure people will have good and bad examples for all the networks.

I've been with O2 online for 3 years now and never had any problems at all. In fact, when my last 12 month contract was up for renewal I said I was going to look around for a cheaper deal. They immediately knocked my £25 a month contract down to £15 a month! For this I got a new phone plus 100 anytime minutes. 50 off peak minutes and 500 texts plus some wap time. Can't really grumble at that.
Also a mate of mine put his phone in the washer by accident, 6 months into his 12 month contract. He had no insurance on it either. He called them and they sent him a brand new phone free of charge.
