View Full Version : Places to stay in Woodhouse, Sheffield
bobbedazzler 08-11-2005, 09:40 Hi there
Could anyone point me in the right direction to find a hotel, B&B, guest house in Woodhouse?
We're visiting later this month for a friends birthday but all the travel inns/lodges etc seem to be booked up and I just don't know where else to start looking!
Thanks for your help!
Jo
I don't know of anywhere in Woodhouse, but here is the City Council's "Staying in Sheffield" page:

twichibi 11-11-2005, 19:14 I used to live in Woodhouse can't think of anywhere other than the Brunswick Hotel. Wouldn't recommend staying there though unless you like sleeping with rats.
Try other areas around the city. Whether you have a car or not there's plenty of other ways of getting to your friends house. :)
Does the Brunswick still have rooms?
It now has a function room upstairs
Beighton Bed and Breakfast
46-50 High Street, Beighton, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S20 1EA
Phone: +44 (0)114 269 2004, Fax: +44 (0)114 269 2875
Single Bed and Breakfast from £22.50 to £25.00 per room
Double /Twin Bed and Breakfast from £40.00 to £50.00 per room
Family Bed and Breakfast from £45.00 to £65.00 per room
Beighton is about a mile away
Is there anybody from Handsworth here?
I'm sure there's a pub that does rooms on the main road through there
bobbedazzler 11-11-2005, 20:26 Thanks for your replies - with not knowing the area I have no idea what's near what!!
Beighton B&B is looking good tho - especially as its so close!!
Thanks again!

Call that a function room !
I was booked to dj a works party there, went to look at the room and worked out that if I set all my gear up, you would only get 10 people in.
Funnily enough, its about the same size as my bedroom.
Er, no, but the sign flapping about outside does :suspect:
