Has anyone spent any time looking at the 'Wild Planet' photography exhibition on The Moor?

When I first saw the metal stands going up last year, I was grumping on to Mrs D, along the lines of 'what's this waste of space, nobody can get by' (maybe I was having a bad day :D

Anyway, the next time I was on The Moor I stopped and had a look at the photos and was really glad I did, always stop to have a look now when I'm down town.

Some of my favourites in this stunning display from the natural world are:

'Crocodile attacking Wildebeest' - it's almost like a classical painting....
'Coconut Crab going up'
'Adder burying itself'
'Bullfrog rescuing Tadpoles'

I think the exhibition finishes sometime in March - do you have a favourite photo from this?

Yes the crocodile one is very stunning.I think it is a very good thing to have there and it should be replaced by something similar.I enjoyed it.

Absolutely stunning pictures. We ended up going into the little shop and buying a calendar with a selection of the photos on it.

I think all the photos are absolutely stunning, the ones that stick out to me though are the photograph of "Skeleton Bay" somewhere on the African Coast and the Photograph of the Pelican with its wing partially covering its face - looks very spooky but its beautiful.

I bought the baby Gorilla print as a Christmas present.

Been there three times now, really good exhibition (there until March)

The photos are amazing. It also adds to the ambience of the place. People take time to look at the photos and read the notes about them.I think it would be better if there was a bot more greenery around though. Shame its only there until March.

I love the snorkelling elephant - that picture just makes me smile.
