No the Creme egg bars are.
Creme eggs and mini eggs are only sold between the end of December and Easter! Cadburys say its keeps them kinda special or something like that!

mammybear 01-01-2011, 20:52 i have been getting creme eggs from w h smiths at meadowhall all year round.
Flowersfade 01-01-2011, 22:48 hmmmmm deep fried creme eggs
Isabelle 01-01-2011, 23:36 I worked in a shop in Meadowhall, the creme eggs arrived ready to go on the shelves on Boxing Day.
I know a fella who works for Tesco who goes in on Xmas day. Travels all the way down to the warehouse, picks up all the eggs, and has them ready on the lorries for the first unloading at the stores.
There pulling out last years Easter chocs to get rid of them so they can stack the shelves with new batches :)
DeathAxe 04-01-2011, 23:04 Tesco bosses need hanging by their necks! they started selling Easter eggs... BEFORE even new years! wtf is going on here?
Hey, It'll be Christmas again soon.... :hihi:
My Co-Op also has Easter stuff on sale, personally I think it's ridiculous to tout themed goods so early....
Had to have a word with my Co-Op as well earlier, they have put 20% on top of the previous shelf price instead of putting just the extra 2.5% on :loopy:
3 days hard work manager said - I just brought him bang back down to earth
There's already a thread in the general discussion http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=697194
I don't see why people are so shocked as supermarkets have been doing this for the past 5 years or more. They only sell mini eggs and creme eggs between the end of xmas and easter so they do big deals with the major chains to get them out and on sale asap after xmas.
In a couple of months time when customers decide they need to start buying their easter eggs they'll remember that they saw 'Tesco just after xmas' had them in stock so will probably get them from there. It's all to do with product awareness for customers.
DeathAxe 04-01-2011, 23:30 Don't they go off?
I bought one yesterday it was delicious:hihi:
DeathAxe 04-01-2011, 23:32 At Easter time all sorts of places will be stocking Easter eggs, there is no need to do it now. The only thing Tesco is making people aware of is the fact they are being idiots.
