June Whitfield as 'Eth', paired with Ron in the 'Take It From Here' radio show of the 50's & 60's was superb... Her pairing with Terry Scott in Terry & June, needs a totally different word to describe it, one that would appear on here as a string of asterisks! ;)

I have to say, I enjoyed Terry and June in the 70's when I was growing up. I also like Sykes and loads of other sitcoms. we just didn't know any better. they look really corny now.

well it was only self titled as Terry and June, after the original series on the other channel which was called something else before it got cancelled.

Series like that from the 70s I was far more interested in the Good life. Felicity Kendal what a darling!

Yes I remember Sykes.
With Hattie Jakes and Derek Guyler. Eric was on the radio last week the guy is a comic genius, similar to Spike Milligan. He is now Blind as well as deaf and is still as busy as ever in his 80s. He is in the Harry potter movies, was on the Others with Nicole Kidman, he still writes scrips, and I read one of his books and it was hilarious.

You've actually admitted to that? Sis, you've gone down in my estimation now :hihi:
