did anybody make it to the barrals bonfire on friday night ?
and what was it like ?
i was supposed to be going but was let down by mate.
been told there was some problems down there which involved police turning up can anyone shed any light on this .

I was there. There was a few people who just brought their own beer and to see the bonfire.

There was trouble with just two of them thats all.

The landlord, my good friend "Les", who was lighting the fireworks, was getting pelted with stones after an earlier incident with the said two.

He jumped over the wall and pasted 10 bells out of them.

They called the Police, who quite rightly said "Tha did reyt" "Tha should have hit em a bit harder".

But all in all it was a good do.

you see i did mention not to upset him on a other thred but no body listened did they !

but on a more serious note did the 2 who brought there own beer and were chucking stones get done of the police because i seem to notice you get people like this turning up to places causeing trouble and then when people deal with them they make out there the guilty party and get off scot free.

There was no furthur action off any parties involved.
