See also 'New cars at Trade Prices - delays' posted on 18/12/03...I too am a very disappointed and disgruntled 'customer' of Makro Motors. I placed an order back on 4/10/03 for a new VW. I was first given a date of 15/12/03, then 22/12/03 and then no date at all. I faxed a snotty letter after I established it was Motor Solutions(near M1 by a large shopping mall ??) who were the umbrella group acting on behalf of Makro.

Since then I have had a phone call a week from a lady named Joy who is very nice but quick to get off the phone having given me no new news...or date of delivery. This company glady took my 10% deposit and have now left me with additional expenses e.g. the loan I took out based on the 22/12/03 date, servicing costs for my current car, loss of interest..all of which i have explained and got nowhere.

Is there anyone in the Sheffield area who can tell me a little about this so called company..I live in Birmingham and know little about your fair city...Help please.

Bob

I just wanted to say thank you to Motor Provider for all their efforts.

As I'm sure you can appreciate after my experience with Virgin cars buying online was quite a scary process what with Virgin messing me around and telling me lies , then having seen vigin on tv watchdog, I decided to bin my order with Virgin and buy one from MotorProvider.

Everything MotorProvider promised they did and they made the experience as painless as possible. We are delighted with the car and motor provider.

We bought a scenic and is was identical to the car in the main dealer and saved £4000

We would not hesitate to recommend MotorProvider to friends and family.

My car was built for the UK and not a import.
