Well, it's coming to the end of another knitting year, time for us to think back about what we have created and what we have created it with. So did any of us have a favourite yarn and did we have one that made us cringe to the depths of our very souls? Have you got a yarn on your to do list for next year?
My favourite has been Rico Poems. The colours are stunning, but the price tag isn't. My least favourite is Rico CanCan. It's a bit like Sideshow Bob; interesting, colourful but best kept away from. For next year I am holding out for Noro Kogarashi :D.

The one I'm never knitting with again (I've even thrown away the leftovers) is Noro Kureyon sock yarn. I know people love it but I'm not one of them.
I've had a few favourite yarns but most of them are not available in the shops (who remembers those adverts? Not available in the shops...)

I'm not a fan of the Noro yarns either, just found the one I've fallen hook, line and sinker for. The colours are really quite nice, its just that some of them tend to feel like you're knitting with string.

I have loved making jumpers, well when I haven't been pulling my hair out for it (thank you for your patience Mrs Radish, I couldn't of done it without you)
the blankets have been good too and the quick toys too :)
My YUCK is Louisa Harding Fauve color (colour) 16. It is 100 Nylon and I bought it in a sale. I have tried several times to knit and crochet with it and now just want to sling it. It sticks to the slightest bit of skin on your fingers and to me, does not knit or crochet well in any way shape or form on whatever needle or hook. The colour is nothing to write home about and quite frankly I don't know why I bought it. Well, I do, it was in the sale and it looked like it was something good with a posh name. Maybe I've learnt my lesson for next time. Rant over.
