Torf 07-02-2004, 11:01 Maybe this is a cue for someone to open a bar that supports european tele for the 3pm premiership games ;) Lou 09-02-2004, 11:51 I'm never quite sure if it's completely well, legal? :) TonyG 09-02-2004, 14:44 I know there were a couple who showed the 3pm matches live but Sky clamped down on them pretty hard I think. Its a pity because I loved it when we went to Tenerife last year and all the matches were on, and nearly all pirated. fnkysknky 09-02-2004, 14:54 Can't show 'em even if they wanted too - can't have televised footy at 3pm in this country. Don't know exactly how it would work with non UK channels but I'm guessing the pubs don't have permission to show it to a public audience anyway. Andy78 09-02-2004, 17:03 Our local pub at home shows saturday matches and advertises it as well. Surely if it wasn't legal, they wouldn't put up posters about it. All very confusingg fnkysknky 10-02-2004, 03:49 God knows then... |
