Thanks for your reply - I am one of the Samaritans mob waving buckets at the end and I wanted to know if he mentioned us but managed to hear the end when he did do so.

He is a great supporter of Samaritans and therefore can do no wrong :-) A couple of us were lucky enough to meet up with him beforehand and have our photos taken. He is really nice and genuine and it was a pleasure to meet him.

Hiya Katya, What a guy!! yeah he did us all proud, hope you collected lots of money. What a fab night :D I thought the audience were a bit boring to say the least, he worked his little bum off. I was desperate to get up and dance along but no-one got up :( The duet with beady belle was great, when he came down into the crowd to sing Frontin I was desperate to go over and hug him but my 24 year old daughter wouldn't let me :hihi: The newly refurbished city hall looked and sounded great, Jamie made a point of saying so too.

Off to Michael Buble tonight with my youngest daughter....mmm, I'll see ;)

Jamie Cullum, City Hall 5 November - anyone going? Not even if it would bring about world peace - He is so middle of the road i'm suprised he hasn't been run over. It will all end badly I fear.

I was there. I went to see him last year as well.

He was absolutely fantastic. Words cannot describe how much I enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed Beady Belle as well. What a fantastic singer Beate is.

sorry minimicnh but unless you were there its not fair to comment....

he was absolutely brilliant, i was five rows from front and atmosphere was magical! when he came into the crod i ran over and was at the front. i danced in my chair the whole night, tho one girl in front of me stood up and danced for one song, but she spent more time lookin around her than actually watching jamie, her and her boyf talked the whole way thru and just kept doin big slobbery kisses, v ofputtin! part from that jamie was brilliant, he soudned great, the band were on top form and i cant wait to see him again soon!

beady bell were good but didnt work the audience as well as jamie does. brilliant voice tho, and i want her dress!

I'd have thrown up my spleen if that happened!:gag:

Minimimch - you obviously haven't listened to all of jamie's stuff as you would then know that not everything he does is all about jazz.

As weenireeni says, if you weren't there, why are you wasting time and energy to comment? Just because you don't like him doesn't mean to say that everyone else has to follow suit.

I think he's fantastic and his concert was electric and I would go again tonight if I could.

Sorry but I couldn't resist having my two-penneth!

i totally agree weeni!

<--- was most gutted when he mentioned his g/f!

some people are so narrow minded.

i thought the asbo visuals were good ... made me giggle.

i must have only been a couple of rows behind you actually. i was about 7 from the front.
