Im off to fish Loxley Fisheries,over the Christmas holidays,proivding its not frozen over,how should i fish it ???

it depends mr pops, on how cold it is, i would 2 ways , try and get a peg around the 7 mark and tray meat and corn on the feeder, dont itroduce too much bait, its not stuffed with fish like lindholme etc, and i would fish the pole about 10-11 metres with small pellets 4mm's.

its one of the harder fishery's to bait for really as there is a good selection of every fish in there, there isnt really a dominant species in the lake on which to target.

one thing i didnt add mr pops alwys take a pintof mage with you, cos every fish n there from the chub to the barbel will take maggots there, half the time you wont know whats pulling against you, thefishing really there is that diverse

hi i know that this advice is abit late :hihi: but i have fished loxely fisheries allot & the best pegs are no 15-22.
Any of these are brill. i use hair rigged Corn, meat or pellets, casting out to the lilly's and catapulting bait out little and oftern.

But i have found that the fish in loxerly DONT like stong adertives, artifical baits or hevy feeding.

Like i say thats how i have fished it and it has worked very very good.
