Is there any chance that if you click on a link it will just open another copy of your web browser? Rather than redirecting the current page.
It does on the all other sites I go to. And SF is anoying 'cos it doesn't.
Thanx GR
Yep, agree! Just a little annoying sometimes :heyhey:

you could try right clicking and clicking "open in new window"
or get a better browser (such as Firefox (www.firefox.com) or Opera (www.opera.com))
in those browsers you can set up mouse gestures; so I just right click and pull the mouse down and links open up in a new tab
second nature now.

All you need to do is press SHIFT as you click on a link.

posted the same time as Carl_Malibu, but both methods are perfectly valid.
While the thread is still open I'll remind the Co-Admins about the lack of a "Member list" link on the left-hand menu, until one views a post. Very annoying. I know... please us contact us... but I saw the chance here so took it. ;)
OK....Browser problem - press shift as you click on the link and that will open it in a new window. The software used to be configured to do that but folks complained. :) Anyway, doing it this way gives the best of both worlds - it normally opens in the same window but if you want a different window, just press Shift.
Members List. This is a known issue for us and we're doing some software modifications in the near future so we'll take a look at it then.
Contact Us. Yes, very useful because you might actually get an answer quickly rather than relying on someone finding a thread and looking at it. Please use it for these things.
Question answered, closing! :)
