Grenoside Pantomime Group's forthcoming panto is 'Alice In Wonderland'. Based on Lewis Carroll's much-loved childrens novel and featuring famous characters such as, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, the King and Queen of Hearts. The White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, March Hare and Cheshire Cat. Not to mention Alice, this time accompanied by her mum Dame Milly. The Knave of Hearts has designs on taking over Wonderland, and the only hope of stopping him lies in fetching a golden heart made with magic gold from the Wizard's magic goldmine. Travelling through Muddleup Wood, our heroes encounter a group of spaced out hippies and stumble upon a mad tea-party. Meanwhile, Prince Jack of Diamonds is ambushed by a group of energetic Haggis whilst out hunting the elusive little beasties.

We can't promise you Johnny Depp, but we can promise you a fun-filled traditional-style panto that will enchant and delight both young and old. With baddies to boo and goodies to cheer, plus fantastic scenery and costumes. Written by Sheffield's very own Limelight Scripts, this panto is one not to be missed. So come one come all, come join the Alice ball.

Went to see the show last night with 2 of my daughters, the third one was in the show and my wife helped out in the backstage, and must say what a fantastic time we had, laughs from beginning to end, especially Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, the line fluffing was hilarious. All the team were fantastic, and can i just say thanks to all the older girl dancers for taking all the younger ones under their wings and making it a more enjoyable time, i know it certainly made my daughter a lot happier, and the disco after was great, the kids had a whale of a time but were shattered by 1.30, lol. Roll on the next panto
