Runnign AZUREUS p2p software which as been fine but suddenly toay it wont maximise to a normal window but just parks itself on the toolbar at the bottom of XP and wont maximise. If I right click on it usual options are there but it just wont turn into a window. Any ideas? You can see it TRYING to expand to a window and escape from the toolbar but just kind of wobbling a bit and not move....


Uninstalled and installed it again but its doing the same so I cant check what files and status of downloading, etc.....

i know that software cn be a bit temprimental, but i have never had that problem myself.

not sure what to suggest really, as you've done evrything i would have said to try.

have you tried leaving it for a while, to see if it does maximise

Try a 'System Restore' to a few days ago when you last remember it being OK.

If it comes back to being OK, then run a full set of Anti-Virus/Anti-Spyware/Anti-Trojan sweeps.

You may just have picked up a bug.

system restore going back 2 days seemed to cure it...cheers

If it happens again, Right click it at the bottom, select MOVE, Press ANY arrow key, and then move your mouse, this should bring it back into the screen.
