May you all have a happy and colourful Christmas. Thank you :D Mr&MrsRadish 15-12-2010, 20:04 Are we all to busy doing our thing to wish each other Seasons Greetings? Moonfire 15-12-2010, 21:08 Merry christmas everyone!!! :) Wool4brains 16-12-2010, 19:30 I wish I was busy doing my thing but I seem to spend too much of my time doing someone else's thing. "Have you bought something for your sister?" "Do you need to write some cards for school?" "Are you going to wrap your mother's present?" I'm looking forward to Boxing Day when there's lots of cold meat and I don't have to cook, nothing needs buying, wrapping or organising and I don't have to remember anything for anyone. I will be able to settle down with some knitting, find some suitable tripe on tv and put my feet up. I believe Santa is fetching me some really nice yarn this year and a new spindle to play with (I bought them both a few months ago and I've been really good since then) I love Christmas but the extra running about really eats into my knitting time. Getting snowed on just made things worse, there's the same amount of running around and fewer days to fit it into. Hopefully I'll be all caught up before the day because there's no chance of an extension is there? JillM 16-12-2010, 22:42 Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. Looks like a white one - which we would normally moan about never happening - bet we moan about it this year!!! I will toast the day at about 11 a.m. with the Christmas sherry and it will carry on from there :hihi: Mr&MrsRadish 17-12-2010, 08:44 Christmas has been strangely stress free so far. Christmas pressies done, knitted ones for junior radishes nearly finished. Just the usual "I haven't written the Christmas cards yet" thing. Wouldn't be Christmas without that really! We haven't even had a Christmas play to go to at school. I will be cooking Christmas Dinner for 6 but won't be stopping up until 2am making chestnut stuffing this year. Here's to an enjoyable Christmas for all! JarvisCocker 17-12-2010, 09:02 Merry Christmas everyone! Been too busy to start my next project but hopefully will get something on the needles when I'm off work. So watch out, I'll be on bothering you all. :hihi: Might attempt the diagonal cushion :) sherakapod 17-12-2010, 12:01 I wish you alll a merry Christmas and the most wonderful New Year you could all wish for. I bet one of the wishes will be for more yarn;) mgknit 17-12-2010, 13:32 Happy Knitmas to you all. A healthy, prosperous trauma free 2011. can't believe a decade has passed since the Millennium, Seems like yesterday. Not sure what I've been doing either. This white stuff addles the brain big time. Keep safe and warm when travelling around, and the end of the world will not come if some things are left until the 27th angrymumtwo 17-12-2010, 14:22 Happy Christmas everybody!! My days off are Christmas day and Boxing Day next week. I don't suppose you could open the shop Jill  I am joking of course:hihi: sherakapod 17-12-2010, 14:25 Happy Christmas everybody!! My days off are Christmas day and Boxing Day next week. I don't suppose you could open the shop Jill  I am joking of course:hihi: We have all the kids around on boxing day and I am usually ready to hide by 2.00pm. Do you think Jill would open for a couple of hours so we could escape and shop or just curl up in all that lovely yarn and sleep? JillM 17-12-2010, 19:21 If I get fed up of the ball and chain attached to the kitchen door I might nip down to the shop myself:hihi: sherakapod 17-12-2010, 20:18 If I get fed up of the ball and chain attached to the kitchen door I might nip down to the shop myself:hihi: give us a nod and I'll be there! Becky B 17-12-2010, 20:38 Why do I always come up with an idea for a knitted Christmas present only one week before? It'll have to be next Christmas now :D Hope everyone doesn't get too stressed, and remember, copious quantities of festive alcohol can lead to much frogging... Merry Christmas! Blissful. They are watching a dvd with the lights off and every now and them I bung them some popcorn and snacks. This is the easiest birthday party we've ever done!
