'Wrap rage' hitting the over-50s (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/3456645.stm)

I don't think they are alone.

I got a memory card for my digital camera in a sealed oversize plastic wrap and it took me 5 minutes to get into the packet with a hacksaw - I kid you not.

While on the subject on wrapping - why do they need boxes 4x bigger than the product? Are they designed to prevent you fitting the goods in the back of your car so that you have to pay for delivery?
