Unless you have cat-like eye sight, what is the point?
You cant advertise a logo or anything in that one little box.. it seems a pointless waste of cash to me.

Thats why if you want your site to catch the eye, you need to purchase quite a lot of pixels, then you can have a bigger image.

But you are right though, it does seem a waste of time and money, but the person who made the site is raking it in.
