Despite the weather, the Christmas Lights switch on, and spectacular fireworks display, will be going ahead this Thursday.

Santa will be there, along with fairground rides, community brass band, community choir, dancers, Ranger-led activities for the children, community marquee, lantern parade, etc, etc.

The cafe will be open for a nice hot cuppa and food will be available from various vendors.

Come along and have some fun from 3pm until 6pm!

Unfortunately I can't make it again as I'm doing my family xmas visits this weekend.

Hopefully there's just enough snow left to make it a winter wonderland... but not quite enough to make it too icy or slippy for people - I walked in park on tuesday and some good paths had been cleared properly.
