Thought it was a novel idea but I know I could put 4K to better use. We dont always get the weather to fully enjoy such a feature at that sort of expense and I doubt the cost would be recouped in the sale of the house. Couldnt really take it with you. I just wanted to ask as I am thinking of having a cellar conversion and want a pool table, how the eck do I get a pool table down there? I didn't see the programme, so was wondering if they had some sort of access to the cellar or did they have to have the snooker table built down there? I only have a bulk standard cellarhead and staircase. Maybe they didn't show it on the programme. Hi John was just flicking through and saw your thread, I was one of the builders sho worked on it, We had just built an extension for the woman when she asked us if we fancied doing something with the air raid shelter with channel 4, We re used a lot of materials from the extension to keep costs down. Have got to admit it was a bloody good party afterwards. Paulo. |
