Thanks Unisol 31-10-2005, 14:59 Follow the A61 (Penistone Rd from city centre). After you pass the Sheffield Wednesday ground on your left, go straight over at the roadabout (then you'll see a Burger King on your left). Keep on this road - Halifax Road (still the A61) for about 1 mile until you reach a crossroads (traffic lights) - go straight on at the crossroads - you are now in Grenoside (notice stone buildings on left) - keep on and you'll enter a very straight stretch of road (with tall trees on either side) - when you come out of the trees if opens up with fields on either side, take your 2nd right turning (the first right is a tight narrow turning which you may miss) - take the one after this (being the 2nd) onto Bracken Hill - go down here and straight across at the crossroads (notice Acorn Inn on your right) - go down a short hill and into a dip - turn left right in the bottom of the dip (Springwood Lane) - go up the hill and take a right turn near the top - the first building on your right is the school. Sorry if that sounded long-winded only i've to include a few landmarks for you. Good luck. claremiggle 31-10-2005, 15:18 Oops - sorry - should have said I'd need to take public transport! Is there a bus service or anything? pedro1 31-10-2005, 15:20 77 or 80 will get you there. You can catch them both outside argos ( the one above the 99p shop) Peter PS nice school, my daughters went there claremiggle 31-10-2005, 15:23 Can you get off the bus anywhere near the school? bigtom1981 31-10-2005, 18:08 you can get off both the 77 and 80 at the fosters flats and walk just up the road its only 2 mins! Andy C 31-10-2005, 18:19 76 also goes there. Suggest you use the journey planner at www.sypte.co.uk for full bus information. pedro1 31-10-2005, 20:32 76 takes ages though. About an hour. 77`s best from town and 80`s best going back. |
