We went to see Paycheck at UGC this afternoon and apart from the Asian chavs on the back row smoking dope :o and gabbing most of the way through  the film was pretty good... although I wouldn't bother seeing it a second time because once you know the ending it's done...
Anyhow I'd recommend it  I just wish UGC would employ some more ticket attendants to watch out for the film-to-film drifters who need to get a life :loopy:
Sounds like the same ****es that were there when i was watching Scary Movie 3 yesterday [what a fab film!].
Paycheck was cool, liked that

Just came across these reviews which agree with my experience last week...
UGC going downhill fast... (http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g186364-d242925-r823166-UGC_Cinema-Sheffield_South_Yorkshire_England.html)
I may print out the comments and take a copy to pass to the management if we go today...
It's a shame because it ought to be the best large scale cinema we have in Sheffield...
I wish they'd been smoking dope when I went to see LOTR as it may have hidden the stench from the food people were eating. Why can't people eat before or after they come to the cinema? Where do they think they are, Glynebourne?
The noise and smell of these pigs troughing is disgusting. /rant

Why didn't you say anything? I would have had to say something to the little Chavs either that or I would have gone to get a member of staff.

<<<RANT ALERT>>>
I cant stand people eating in the cinema. Popcorn is okay, it makes very little noise, but Nachos? You kidding me? The crunchiest food known to man? Chomp Chomp Chomp Chomp all the way through the first half of the film. And people snorting away over over your shoulder on a big soggy sauce-covered hotdog. And the idiots who insist on rattling sweet bags ALL THE WAY THROUGH the film!
We're here to see a film, not have our tea. Go to Macdonalds afterwards, or before if you're really that hungry!

They got all that from others in the cinema... and largely carried on in complete ignorance.
I guess I could have Rambo'd over there and got into a fight - risking getting stabbed / whatever (had no idea how many of them etc) or walked out - thereby wasting an entire morning...
Decided to ignore them and try to concentrate on the film - but it left me feeling frustrated that I hadn't done something more - maybe you're right & I should have gone and lost my rag with them.
In my opinion there should be cinema marshalls - a bit like air marshalls but wearing night vision goggles so they can pick out their targets. A quick stun from a Tazer would make sure the brats never make a sound again in the cinema

The staff are good at controlling noisy people ive told them a few times about annoying little swines whod rather pay a fiver to sit in a dark room and talk rather that do it free outside. They kick them out and all is well for the rest of the film. The only crap thing about that cinema is the lack of staff on on the tills. Queues can be massive.

Thanks for that KK I'll ask the staff next time - if I can find any! ;)
