Hello All!

I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me which would be the best bus (or busses) to catch from Halifax Road to the University.

I'm moving shortly from south Sheffield over to Grenoside (just off Halifax Road). I've looked on the SYPTE website but it's a nightmare to find out anything! And the transport executive shop thingies are only open 9-5 and I work full time!

I was thinking of getting a bus in to Hillsborough and then getting the tram but someone suggested that I might be better off getting a bus to town and then another one up to the Uni.

Thanks!

Natalie

No. 17 Bus to Hillsborough + Supertram would be best.

Grenoside - Hillsborough Bus (http://www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/yorkhumber/southyorkshire/timetables/timetable.php?day=1&source_id=&service=17/17A&routeid=18155)

Plural of Bus is "Buses", not "Busses".

haha!

They're short of drivers.

But who would want to do that job with crap pay and all the abuse from drunks and youths ?

Going up Bellhouse Road from Firth Park the other night I saw two youths clinging to the rear engine cover of a bus. If they got killed, some people would want to sue the bus company.

Its got nothing to do with lacking drivers, the 17 timetable has been a work of fiction since the times of it being council run (over 25 years thats as long as I remember), it isn't helped that it comes from Rotherham depot.
