Maybe, but they are so damn nice :)

But who would think of making little edible babies out of jelly? Then again they made gummy bears...

The things I'm on about are bean-shaped - not jelly babies. Have a look at the video ...

Mind you, jelly babies ARE very odd I must agree. The Black ones are the best :thumbsup:

Ahhhh, I love jelly bellys!

The watermelon, pear, and root beer flavors are the best. A while back, my mom and I took the kids and toured the Fairfield, California factory. Just north of San Francisco.

Many stores here sell huge bags of the belly flops, mutant jelly beans that didn't meet factory standards. But alas, they're always just one flavor per bag. But they taste just as good as the perfect ones!

Mmmmmmmm jelly belly jelly beans are amazing, you're making me want some now!

They come in tooooons of flavours, some of them aren't quite to my liking (peanut butter - eurgh!), but most of them are so lush! Get some now! And get me some while you're at it!

Embarrassingly i worked at Trebor Bassett's for a year. That video makes everything look nice and clean but in real life the Corn Starch is absolutely everywhere :o

Working on the 'Baby Band' was the worst job i have ever done. There is three floors of machinery all working together so you can't stop the 'Band' for anything. It is mind numbingly boring :rolleyes:

In my year i made:
Liquorice Allsorts
Jelly Babies
Wine Gums
Periel (the tiny pink/brown/blue balls that go on aniseed buttons)
Cola Bottles
Aniseed Buttons
Foam Shrimps and Bananas

I wonder how many of you would still like them if you saw them being made :wink:

When I went to DC on a business trip recently, I bought $15 of Jelly Belly in duty free - my secret sweety confession :)

I just wish he wouldn't keep referring to the raw jelly bean material as 'flavoured slurry'...
