Broomhall Celebration Day, March 2011
This event has been postponed until March. Further details to follow nearer the time.
To mark the end of our Visual Improvement project in Broomhall we are holding a celebration event in March at The Broomhall Centre, Broomspring Lane, Broomhall, S10 2FD. This event has provisionally been re-booked for Saturday 19th March 2011, 2.30-5.30pm. The exact date and time will be confirmed at a later date.
For the past two months Art in the Park artists have been working with local community groups including, youth clubs, faith groups and tenants and residents associations to create permanent banners, street furniture, welcome markers and notice boards for the Broomhall area. These designs will be commissioned and installed around Broomhall in the new year.
The celebration event will feature an exhibition of all the final designs and a selection of finished pieces. Free food and drink will be provided and special arts activities will be organised for the event.
Please come along and support your local community!
