Does anyone know what happened this afternoon (Thurs 27th Oct) with the tram crash at the junction just round the corner from attercliffe tram stop?

It seemed pretty serious, all traffic being diverted away. There was a lot of police and also an ambulance on the scene.

Whoever's got hurt, I hope it's not too serious. I wish them a good recovery.

Yes m8 was there just after it happened the lads name was Adam and he is in a pretty bad way, he was chatting to his mum on the tram crossing and didnt relise it but stepped in the trams way felt real sorry for the lad and his mother was distraut the lad was only 19 as well, dont know what else to say really, as we helped all we could, only hope the lad makes a good recovery.....

Man, can't imagine how his mum must be feeling...

Hope he pulls through.

According to the radio this morning he has serious head injuries. Awful thing to happen!

Gutted for the lad, im sure im not on my own on wishing the lad a full and speedy recovery!

This is a terrible story i really do hope he pulls through ok...

PS... The lad is only 19... not was!

Can we also think about the tram driver too, yes his poor mother must be going through a hell of a lot at the moment but imagine also what the tram driver is going through.
