is the "stones" system still in existence in sheff where people swap tasks or favours eg you mow my lawn, I'll fix your roof??

I was in this in the mid 1990`s - it was called LETS Local Economy & Trading Scheme (or System). Not sure if it is still around though

Don't no about that one but there is a scheme going on in certain called changing times that puts you and your skill on a list and allow someone else to exchange that for somethime you need

I used to read about this in a magazine I got from a herbalist but never knew if it was any good. Did anyone use it?

Also, I couldnt think of any skills to barter!

Still exists. I thought it was called stones but thats the name of the "currency" they use

Cool, there is a similar sytem in York where they trade Yorkies/Favours.

Might look into this :)
