I have been keeping a page a day style diary since April 1970, when Simon and Garfunkel were number 1 with Brdge Over Troubled Water. Not just a few lines but in excess of 500+ words a day ,every day, for the last 35 years, 30 of those years spent in Sheffield.
Just got them all down from the attic and been transferring them via optical character reader to disk, and they offer quite interesting insights into Sheffield and the way things 'used to be', and all that. I often describe and log things in full detail, and many aspects of 70s's and early 80's Sheffield are discussed...
