Hi all, sorry about the short notice but Jill has decided to cancel because of the weather conditions. Today was the first time I have ever been unable to get in because the shop door was frozen from the inside! Keep warm and knit plenty.

I haven't been out in over a week, myself. This weather is a pain in the proverbial.

Sorry everyone. Thought it better to make an early decision than you having a wasted journey. Supposed to be taking Mum to Rotherham Hospital at 3.30 for her post-op consultation (her diagnosis and treatment leading to last month's cancellations) but don't think we will get there either. If it is possible to make the hospital trip that will, of course, be my priority much as I love seeing you all. Will organise another get together soon. Jill

We haven't even dug our car out yet. I've been housebound for 2 weeks - I was ill for a few days before the snow arrived and since then haven't dared risk the icy pavements. I've made it to the bin and back and that's about it! Still, my Yaktrax have arrived now so I'm hoping I may make it to my son's Christmas play tomorrow...

Have got the car out at last but can't get back as there is a delivery van stuck and he's just left it so no-one can get in or out. Roll on the thaw. Done snow now.
