Ok, I need to design a 15 minute team building task for a group of 5 people. I have had some ideas, but nothing spectacular.

The task should be simple, while encouraging the use of team communication, time management, skills delegation etc...

It will be a desk top activity that employs simple materials such as paper, rubber bands, balloons, sellotape, blue tac, paper clips, string, stapler etc. Though this is flexible.

The best I've come up with so far is building a structure of some kind to support a specified load. However, that may be a bit awkward with the time constraint.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I'm really running out of ideas on this one.

on my last team build we had to make the highest spaghetti and marshmallow tower. Top fun. Also get them to advertise something. come up with a jingle/design etc etc

I like it Robbie. Hmm, the advertising idea is quite good.

How about this:

Theres a hypothetical forum of 18(ish) K member serving a reasonably large city with a large student population. The forum is defined as U rated but the members range in age and outlook. Come up with a set of moderating rules and specifications for a small number of volunteer moderators to try and keep everyone happy.

If you get any good results let us know!!!

I suppose that depends on the group to take up the challenge. Don't hold your breath though. :(
