Brief Background on The Ratcliffe 26, an important case for the Climate Defence Movement. On 12 Arpil 2009, 114 climate activisits were pre-emptively arrested on suspicion that they would be involved in a nonviolent direct action at Britain's 2nd-largest coal-fired power station, at Ratcliffe-on-Soar.
