Hi I am doing some research on the Gleesons homes project in Nether Edge. I hear there have been some problems relating to the fence on the Osbourne Road entrance. If anyone knows anything about the issue I would be grateful for some information.

I believe that it should have been a wall made of stone not some hideous fence that looks as though it has been fabricated from old packing cases.

Unfortunately i don't have any info regarding the problem with the gates that you mentioned in your post, butive done a lot of work for Gleeson's over the years and would just like to make a couple of points if thats ok!!!!!

If you look opposite the offending fence (not gates) there is a pair of semi deatatched houses. The lower house is occupied by a lovely couple who have more details of the fence/wall dispute.
