After so many years Corrie has won the National TV award... but due to several intense story lines... such as the Death of Dity Den... Sam being framed... it seems to have brought Eastender back on top...

I still think Corrie is the best soap to watch... full of comedy sadness... happiness... basically a whole mixture of emotions... very unlike Eastenders which seems to be full of doom and gloom... People dying... Marriages not working out...

Ok it may sound like real life and thats how things are in this day & age... but would you honestly like to live on the Square!? talk about depressing!

No washing machines... and just one local... nah not for me :hihi:

Well if that is a national poll, they must have asked everyone who they asked in London where they came from, made sure that 59% were from London and called it a survey of all those that answered in a cockney accent.
Eastenders is crap, dire, dull, has awful actors, depends too much on the word "sorted!", regooogled scripts, drag out story lines to the nth degree, hurried scenes........the list goes on.

EVERYONE KNOWS THAT THE BEST SOAP IS CORONATION STREET by miles.

Is it out of sympathy that they gave it to the BBC to prevent the license fee from increasing?
It is just plain wrong. Where is TV JUSTICE????????????!!!!!!!!

All soaps are.

You're forgetting the way that "actors" die in one soap then appear in another only to die in that one and come back to life in the first one, and all the viewers are stunned at their return.

It realy is TV for the braindead.

Sorry.

EastEnders is my fave soap, then Emmerdale then Corrie.

I think it all depends on what you grow up with as I was brought up with EastEnders & Emmerdale mainly.

Long live Eastenders!!
