Ginger_Kitty 26-10-2005, 08:48 There's the lake district. Or North Yorkshire for all the castles and abbeys. Norton 26-10-2005, 09:50 Whitby :) And if you want to stay and can drive, there's a wonderful little village about 10 miles away called Staithes. It's so quiet and lovely with the smell of real fires. Not a great deal to do in the village but it's great for a chill out. Agent Orange 26-10-2005, 10:10 Blenheim Palace. Never been, but I hear it's a beautiful place and there's tonnes of history to boot. I'm planning on going down there pretty soon. samc 26-10-2005, 10:24 Fountains Abbey Malham Cove Skipton ( get fish'n'chips) Angel05 26-10-2005, 10:57 Bournemouth - I lived there for 14 yrs and loved every year...
