I appear to have been hit by some kind of virus to my Motorola V220 this morning. There appears to be a picture of a pair of red lips on my screen which I can't get rid of, even with the battery removed. It could have burnt itself onto the screen.
I only found out about it around 11.45 am when I looked at the front screen that said there was 1 message.(I don't know what time it came, as I was next to a rather noisy piece of equipment for most of the morning) I opened up the flip, and this VERY bright image greeted me.
Since it covers most of the screen, it's got a yellow haze round it, I cannot read anything else on the screen. Has anybody else had problems today, or recently.
It's possibly been sent at random, but be assured that if I find out who did this despicable act, someone's in deep s..t

IT WAS ME MWHOA MWHOA MWHOA.
seriously dude, thats rather disturbing. Have a look around the net, and find some firmware for the handset.
then buy a data cable, and try reflashing the firmaware.

Could be someone messing about with bluetooth mate, I assume you've got bluetooth on your phone? I was at one of the Sunday night Dev Cat meets a month or so back and was getting wierd messages all night from some psycho girl who apparently thought I looked like a Chav and she liked that in a man :loopy:

These messages said all sorts like "meet me in the Ladies' bog for nooky" etc, WTF?!

Bluetooth is always off by default on my phone.....unless someone has found a way of remotely activating it?

SUNG HOME THURSDAY what sort of message is that anyway?
And how could they make it play a strange tune that is not installed on the phone without sending it by SMS first....
