View Full Version : Nissan customer service!!!
just a quick question.........was in morrisons car park in Catcliffe last week and saw a black Nissan Navara with the phrase "Nissan Customer Service Sucks" written on the side!!! Has anyone else seen this vehicle. Certainly made their point
coolwill2k 24-10-2005, 22:40 hehe yeah i was with that lot. We were convoying to a cruise in barnsely.
Made me chuckle...
Imagine taking that in for a service.
I think this is a really good way of fighting back against bad service - I might just go our and write "Bickerton Skoda Service Sucks" on the side of my car. They say that if you dis a company to 10 people then that is enough to sink it - I think this ties in with the 6 degrees of seperation thing
carpetviper 26-10-2005, 23:08 :( well if thatsthe case blundells estate agents are sh*te and couldnt sell anything:twisted:

I work at the above and our MD would be horrified to see this post. He runs a closely monitered customer satisfaction programme of which we are very proud and if a customer does have a grievance (very rare) he will personally look into the complaint and try to resolve it. All our customers are given a customer satisfaction card to fill in when they leave our garage which is free to post back and he reads every one.

If i were the MD i'd be VERY interested to know of all complaints...sometimes we, as consumers, don't complain enough....

Seconded.. They are trying to stiff me and my housemates on a invisble inventory
People in this country generally don't complain as much as they should.
I believe one of the reasons why service is better in the USA (at least in my experience) is that if they are not happy with something they complain straight away.

As someone whose better half works in the retail trade, I couldn't agree with you less.
Everyone (especially pensioners) complain about everything, it appears. When they're not swapping price tags, bringing back something the cat's been sleeping on for the past month for a refund without a receipt, they're fighting in the queue to pay.
"Everything would be fine if it weren't for the customers."

But then we get labelled as a nation of miserable whingers
carpetviper 20-01-2006, 18:02 People do complain but usually in the wrong way I tend to keep calm and make sure i get names that really worries people as they know if you speak to someone senior you could really say anything about what they did or may have aggreed
SUPERTYKE 20-02-2006, 13:59 I have had Nissans over the last 15 years, have no complaints and have generally found the staff to be courteous and helpful. I'm an ordinary 'Joe', and have no great regard for big business but you may find that the disgruntled customers' complaint was frivolous or unreasonable - we've all done it!

I would say that one of the main problems is that people aren't anywhere near as ready to praise retail staff (or indeed any aspect of service) as they are to complain about them. It presents a biased customer feedback sample, and surely doesn't help the morale of said service staff.
Complaint: a reasoned presentation of a rational case in which the customer feels he or she has been poorly treated by the retailer in the quality of sevice or goods addressed in a rational manner to the correct persons.
Whinge: a poorly considered stab at the percieved ill-treatment of the customer by the retailer based on a persecution complex developed by said customer and addressed to the wrong persons in the worst manner possible, most often accompanied by the statements: "I pay your wages", "I know my rights" and/or "Whatever happened to 'the customer is always right'".
