Hated Drama, Design & Tech (just what is the point?!?) and Games. Didn't like school much to be honest, always fed up of the constant disruptions in class and bullying about being a 'swot'. Disliked: Maths, Geography, Languages (Spanish/French) Out n Out Hated: Religious Education. dawny1 25-10-2005, 13:40 I loved Drama and Art Hated Maths and had an awful teacher called Mrs Batty at King Edward V11 School who once said: 'If anyone would like to bring a some other work to do while I teach those who are interested in learning maths - put your hand up' I didn't put mine up because although I was rubbish at it I did want to learn but she made me bring something else in anyway!!! Loved English, Physics, Geography, History Hated PE, cookery and needlework, art and typing Worried sick by Maths (I am numerically dyslexic) Want to know something funny? I ended up working 20 years as a typist with a sideline business taking in needlework and now I teach parchment craft, which involves a lot of art work. :suspect: melthebell 25-10-2005, 18:11 all of em errrrrrrm i mean RE, PE mostly, PE is legalised torture music was ok when i started doing about kraftwerk and later punk but i couldnt be doing with all the clasical stuff :P i like a bit now mind :) wagner, john adams and all the minimal stuff woodwork and metalwork were ok but i was rubbish at em medusa 25-10-2005, 19:00 Loved- maths, physics, woodwork and metalwork (was the first girl to win the school woodwork and metalwork prizes), music Hated- english lit, art Failed to see the point of- sociology and personal development classes. missb 25-10-2005, 22:38 Hated maths and still do! Also hated History because of the teacher - she made Maggie Thatcher look like a cuddly teddy. Loved art, English and social studies and French. |
