Cheers for that....I'd need to go straight from work...I doubt there's a bus goes there

Anyone any idea how much a cab would cost?

Or might be easier for you to hitch a lift up the sheffield parkway to Junc 33.

Junc 33 is miles closer.

This may sound dumb, but if I got to junc 33 could a coach pull over there and pick me up?

depends on how willing the driver is. They could easily pull over on the slip road, although technically it's illegal to stop there.
They could also come of on to the parkway and stop in the layby, they then have to go to the catcliffe exit to turn around and back to the motorway, might take them 5 mins to do that. There's no way they could stop on the roundabout itself, although if the lights were on red and you were quick you could jump in then...

Do you think it would be easier if I just got the tram to Meadowhall and got them to pull into the station there and pick me up?

That isn't too much of a detour at all, is it?

Cheers for all the help by the way :)

sorry to be complete rubbish...

but, my question is, is it easy for a coach to pull over at junction 34 and pick me up at meadowhall interchange?

Sorry for my crapness again

If you've settled on J33, then arrange to meet in the Big W car park, but bear in mind when you tell them about it, that it's now Woolworths and Morrisons ;)

There's a bus stop outside, but I've no idea which service goes there - though if you're struggling, it is possible to walk up from handsworth (retford rd)

Cheers for that

But is it not just dead easy for them to pull into the coach station at meadowhall, much like national express coaches do?

Maybe I remember it wrong...if thats too much of a hassle Ill try and find the big W car park

ah, now..... they can't do that

they need to pay the transport exec to be able to use the bus/coach station (unless you mean somewhere else)

but the 'platforms' are all timetabled, and you don't know which one isn't going to be busy when they get there ;)

Tell you what - ring the meadowhall and ask which slot you can have

Good luck - hope you have a good trip.
Unless of course you're going to see any other team playing against Liverpool :D

haha, maybe in a few rounds time

Its Blyth Spartans V chasetown....winner gets Oldham at home

Blyth have won more matches on the trot in the fa cup than any other team ever....should have played Arsenal in the 1/4 finals of the fa cup, bar a retaken corner cos the wind blew the flag over.
