View Full Version : Started too many projects
I have so many projects I want to do, I keep starting them then putting the needles down, then starting a new one.
Is it just me or does anyone else do this?
I've got about 6 on the go at the moment, but have ideas for another 3 I want to do.
And everytime I see different wool or a new pattern, I cant resist buying them.

Nope, it's me too. Welcome to the addiction. Don't try to fight it. :P
sherakapod 10-11-2010, 10:50 Well, I used to start one after I'd finished one. However, I have a corner of a room that has a cobwebbed pile of bags with yet to be completed projects and am ignoring it. :)

Moonfire 11-11-2010, 09:05 LOL,
I am knitting right at this moment, the jumper that should have been finished already and I am thinking of what I want to do next when I have a stack of other projects, so you are not alone :)
I have a sock waiting for its partner which was being knitted for the husband that died two years ago. Another half a sock for me, the back and a front of a jumper, sleeves and front of another jumper, one glove, some smashing wool that will make a great scarf and three half finished tapestries and don't let me get started on the half finished parchment craft pictures.....
On the plus side, I finished knitting a shetland shawl started 20 years ago and I have finally sewn up the baby jumper for my godson (small snag is that he is now 12 and might not like it!)
At least I got shot of a lot of my bags of interesting wool, probably to make room for more!

Sounds to me like you have got it all sorted out.....standard practice having unfinished projects :)
Mr&MrsRadish 12-11-2010, 20:05 Unfinished projects? Never heard of such a thing...............:suspect:
I'm glad it's not just me then :hihi: I've been knitting for 35yrs & this is the first time I have done this, I've normally got lots on the go at once but still finish them :)

Ah, well ummmmmm i've got one done and number two is well on it's way. But the hundreds that I had planned are only a lifetime away. i get excited when I buy yarn and think of endless posibilities. Anyway, you are such an excellent sales woman that I can't resist you.:D
Mr&MrsRadish 19-11-2010, 21:10 If I thought my boss couldn't see this I would say if I got the chance I would actively reduce your yarn buying to the bare minimum until I saw some of your hand knitted goodies. OOPS! Anyhow, you don't need any encouragement from me, you do quite well on your own!
:suspect::suspect: where did that voice come from???
Over here! Over here! :hihi:
It's about the right time of year to pick up that unfinished blanket..... Just the right project for a weekend beside the sea
