Hi people,

Basically, being the slightly-self-nominated social hub of my workplace, I have landed the all too arduous job of sorting out somewhere to have a social around christmas time.

Anyhow, I'm looking for suggestions of bars and places mainly in the city centre that will hire out rooms to a group of around 100 or so.

Suggestions on the back of a postcard asap to.... oh, here!

Victoria Hotel or try the new MacDonalds hotel..

Get booking now as most workplaces book in August!

Or you could try some of the bars if it is an afternoon do - many will hold private parties and close the premises if there is money in it.

The hilton down at victoria quays also do xmas parties...

Not quite city centre, but i know both footie grounds also hold work parties

I went to an xmas do at the Novatel a few years ago, was nice but had to book quite far in advance.

try my old place the bar 101 arundel gate,it has a decent funtion room upstairs.
