What are those small things that cheer you up ?, for me a few of them are

using a new razor for the first time.

the first cuppa tea of the day

writing with anything other than a biro

brushing teeth in the morning, when my mouth feels like a sewer

nice aftershave

new socks

etc etc................

I don't have that many but those that i do remember are those nice comforts.

Having time for a bath.

New batteries in my wireless optical mouse.

Smell of a fresh pack of playing cards.

A Big lump of blu tack between my fingers.

People know what to buy me as little christmas presents, i must have at least 50 packs of cards now.

Sun shining in a blue sky with birds twittering when I wake up [but not too loudly please !]

The smell of a new pair of shoes or a newspaper; sniffing Tippex or a permanent marker always reminds me of school :P

The few moments of ignorant bliss you get when you wake up, just before your memory kicks in.

After a quick think

A new clean bed
A good morning snuggle before getting out of bed
Cleaning teeth in morning
Sun shining but not too warm
Going for a walk in fresh snow to get papers and croissants to take back to bed.
Getting flowers

Will think some more.

Some of these are similar to others....

Nice clean (and a little chilly) bed sheets
A morning snuggle before getting up (ex was a morning-misery)
Sending interflora to someone I like and getting that 'thank you' phonecall. :D
General chivalry around women like opening doors, walking on the road-side of the pavement when passing and letting them go first whenever necessary.
Getting a smile from other drivers when you let them out in traffic.
A warm, clear skied windy day.
Jet-skiiing with my mates every year down south

Also when you do something for someone and they say "thank you". Two small words that make all the difference.
