Couldn't find this on search, so....
With the adverts for the new series of 24 on sky I was wondering if anybody has seen the first two series? I never got to watch it first time round and I think i'll start with the new series.

Watched the first two all the way through... absolutely fab. The main bloke's kid was OK in first series but annoying as hell in the second, hope she gets killed off somewhere along the line !

Any idea when it hits the BBC ? I don't have sky :(

I would advise you get a copy of the first 2 series first before watching the 3rd. When watching the 2nd series you needed to have watched the 1st to get some of the things happening in the 2nd. I imagine this will be the case in the 3rd.

I've been watching the third series. You can watch it without having seen the first two though as pointed out, some of the characters and the interactions between them won't be fully clear to you if you miss what went on before.
The third series is great, I think it's the best yet. It takes a few episodes to get going though, so you'll need to give it a chance.

It won't be on the BBC I'm afraid. They lost the rights to show it after a spat with Sky in which the BBC refused to enrypt their channels. I guess it may be on ITV or Channel 4 when Sky have finished with it though.

The 3rd season isn't doing as well as the first two in the U.S so you never now if it will come back for a 4th.

We return 3 years on from the previous series to find government agent Jack Bauer attempting to deal with a terrifying biological warfare threat. President Palmer is fighting for re-election and Jack's daughter Kim is now an employee of CTU and is dating her dad's new work partner

....and if that wasn't enough Jack is now hiding a drug addiction!

The first episode says "a man's body infected with a deadly virus is dumped outside a hospital"
wish i had Sky
