just run 3dmark05 got a score of 1059. Is this low for my specs?
amd 2600 xp
radion 9600
512 memory
windows xp
Is there a way of improving this score by overclocking or is this a reasonable score?

if your interested in overclocking or being obsessed with benchmarks scores then go to guru3d's forums (cant provide link against rules to promote other forums or something) but its easy to find via google :)

benchmarks mean nothing, your computer is below mid-range for gaming, thats all you'll need to know... you can probably squeeze a bit more out the CPU depending on your RAM, but it wont help much as with games your bottleneck will be your graphics card that is definitly a bit dated...
