Easy to use, takes great photos, and has lots of manual settings for those that know a bit more about photography and dont want to just point and shoot. It can also (with an adaptor) take standard SLR lenses as well. THe only gripe Ive got with it is the flash is prone to redeye, even with the reduction on, but 5 minutes in photoshop fixes that. karl101 23-10-2005, 17:51 Ive got an A80. Its a good compact camera. I chose this one because of the flip out screen (useful for composing self shots) and uses normal AA batteries (I use rechargables but can use duracell in an emergency. Has 5 megapixels and uses cheap compact flash cards. Cost me about £199 but is cheaper now. Thoroughly recommend it. It's a bit bulky compared to super slim models but no more so than a normal 35mm camera. matsalleh 24-10-2005, 16:44 The A80 was reckoned to be the best of the series,but the others are all good.You will not be dissapointed if you get it.
