I often think how fortunate I am to knit simply because of all the friends I have now. We can share a passion, grumble at it and tease one another. We have a bond that can't be explained other than we like to knit. One of our little group of knitters who meet at crystal Peaks library has died today. It makes you realise how precious our friendships are.
Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy and appreciate you all.

Some friends are worth hanging on to, sherakapod, unfortunately others are not. So sorry for the loss of your friend.

The lady was called Margaret. She had her hair died purple and loved having her nails done with exciting nail art. She loved to wear purple too and of course lots of her knitting and crochet was various shades and hues of the colour. As a mark of rememberance we had a minutes silence and toasted her with a cup of coffee this morning and, will do the same at the Thursday meeting. I knitted everyone a purple rose so we can all rmember the good times we shared with her. Yes, we have many fond and happy memories of Margaret. Thank you for your kind thoughts.
