Kia ora from downunder. OK, this is probably not the right place to post this thread but this seems a lively forum & I might just get an answer. I need the lyrics to a song which starts:
You give your hand to me, and then you say "Hello"
And I can hardly speak, my heart is beating so
etc...
But you don't know me.
It's probably from the 50s or 60s and needed for a rural type Sat night stage production.
Thanks
Valerie.
I just found the B.B.King lyrics page - thanks to all who read my post
It's 9.30 pm here and the temp is 22 deg Celcius - brrrrrr
Thanks again
Val.
Closing thread as you've found your info.

Further to the post by Valerie. You were a bit hasty closing the thread Lickszz.
It's true, B.B. King did cover this song (You Don't Know Me), but his version was nothing to write home about. The two definitive versions in fact are by country singer Eddy Arnold (who wrote it) and Ray Charles (who had a sizable hit with it in 1962)

The person did say that they had got the info they needed and to ignore the thread. There is also a PM facility. Merged and closing again.
