My new Forum T-Shirt arrived midweek, so today was the first time I wore it. It's amazing the reaction you get from people who you wouldn't think were on here. Walked into the Blackstock at lunchtime, and after saying "the usual ?", the barmaid said, " What do they call you on the forum ?". A chap in there said, "Like the T-Shirt, must get one myself."
It would appear that there are a lot more people going on here than I imagined. I'm gonna wear it tomorrow to the QSC to see what the reaction is there. Will let you know either Sunday night or Monday.

Several people in QSC eyed at the T-Shirt with knowing looks.

One guy actually said "You're DaveP, aren't you ?"
I didn't even know he had a computer, let alone be on the Forum. However, before we had a chance to chat, the next game of bingo was due to start, and NOTHING stops the bingo in that club, so I re-took my seat. Later on I found he'd already left, but I may see him next week.

wouldnt forum badges be a good idea!--theyd be cheaper to make and i think they would prove popular cos not everyone likes to wear tee-shirts esp in winter!

I PMd Geoff asking "weerz me t-shirt?" after about 3 days of waiting, he said he'd look into it, lo and behold a couple of days later there was a package for me in the post containing my forum t-shirt, which I wear mostly on Sunday nights when I come to the Dev Cat meets.

No need to be nasty in the email, just send a polite email explaining that you bought a t-shirt on such and such a date and it's not come yet, and does anyone know when it'll come?

That's what I did and I got a quick result.

In this world mate, if you're nasty to people you'll only get people being nasty back to you, I learnt that from bitter experience.

So who is gonna buy the last Forum T-Shirt, its lurking over there down the left hand side...

You shouldn't have waited until the last minute to order them, mine only took a couple of weeks. :P

Well well .. guess what was on the floor when I opened the door.... YES ... my T-Shirt has finally arrived yippee ... although it looks like they have tried to deliver it before the silly postman didnt bother to leave a RD card so I could pick it up...
